[What If God smoked...]

It was "ok"

It was an OK effort.

But, I totally 5'd and 10'd this submission just to spite all the religious nuts that think making a flash animation out of a song is "making fun of God" (Spartan_74, who didn't capitalize God.)

And to spite the idiot who said "That's Jesus, not God you dumbass" who obviously didn't listen to the song itself to compare it to the graphical representation you created to go along with the song. (CrystalShip, who apparently doesn't know that Jesus is technically suppose to be God.)

And to spite the guy who said, "From a neautral point of view I found it inappropriate mainly because REGARDLESS OF ONE'S BELIEFS..." If you're adding belief to a "neutral" point of view, it's not neutral. (Jigalow)

Also, why do people feel that anything that includes "God" or religion in any type of art, animation, song, etc... Believe that it is offensive or "anti-religion?"

So, basically, my vote of 5 and review of 10 is just as crazy as your 0 vote and 0,0,0,0,0,0 overall:0 review. (Again, Spartan_74)

Next time if you're going to vote on a flash movie or review one, please do it based on the movie itself, and not on your biased opinions with poor spelling and grammar. ^_^

[The Worf Video]

Not great at all.

I'm sorry, but I found this to be rather horrible, and not that great.

Now, unlike most people, I'm going to tell you why!

1. Graphics were horrible. I mean, it was kinda cute and funny at first with the little poorly drawn chibi-like worf graphics. But then it got boring after that, because that's ALL YOU USED! Sure, you threw in a bit of other things, but all you had were different styles of poorly drawn worf heads!

2. All they did was blink. Like, basically, they blinked, rolled, flashed... The same thing, over and over again. I mean sure, it was neat that you kept them bouncing along to how the audio shifted from left to right, etc... But... You could've done WAY more.

3. Taking the above 2 in account, you could improve upon the whole video if you made better worf graphics, added some REAL backgrounds, and actually at least SOME of the graphics represent the song. For example, during the "klingons singing" parts, you could have had a whole bunch of Klingons including Worf standing there singing, swaying a mug of Blood Wine or something in their hands. That's only one example, there's SO MUCH you need to improve upon.

However, if you search for the video on the picard song which is on newgrounds, it gives a good example of a better way to animate this song.... Even though it loses track to the words after awhile, it's dead hilarious. Check out that flash animation, then check back, open up flash, and try again.

I hope you found my review helpful, because I'd love to see a GOOD "Worf Song" flash animation sometime soon!

Decent.

A decent looking tutorial. Kind of pointless in the fact that it only teaches 1 thing... And you never explained how to do the circle part. (Yes, I know, it's obvious, but some people really just ARE that stupid.)

Yay for the background

Since I'm icy by nature, I liked the background and where it took place.

I gave you a 1 for effort.

A bit of advice, before you submit something to the portal... WORK ON IT REALLY REALLY HARD.

Sure, we all get to see it during it's 20 minutes of fame, if it even lasts that long. But, unless you submit something that's not sprites floating around for 10 seconds, it's quite sure to be knocked out of the portal.

Turn what you just had into a whole movie, with dialog and/or captions that DON'T look like crap like most sprite animations... and... maybe... just maybe... SOMEDAY... it shall remain.

It's VERY possible for you to be able to create a decent flash submission. My animation on newgrounds is my FIRST flash project, and I was able to make it decent. Hopefully you will too! ^_^

[Link vs Samus]

Un..realistic?

One reason why the goal in SSMB is to knock your oppenent off of a stage, is because the fact that in a fight like Link VS Samus, Samus would undoubtedly win. Once Link, who's unarmored by anything but a Tunic and various Hearth Containers, is shot by a large beam of electricity, he would most certainly die.

Anyway, I liked it because... of.. the music. I gave you a 1 though. If you touch it up some more, it could be even better. I'm not disappointed because it's a sprite animation, but because the graphics just... need a lot more work. Especially with the sprites you chose. If you're going to do a sprite animation, at least do it right.
