A little too slow paced for a movie of this caliber. Since it was so short, you may have considered putting more detail into the art style. A faster flying object could have been more more hilarious to watch smack the guy in the face. A decent premise!

I was going to rate it a 2 for a decent animation loop, even though there's nothing to this movie. However, the music just keeps looping, over and over again. The crowd just keeps getting more and more people and the band plays over itself somehow... Like a bunch of nerds trying to tune their tubas during band practice.

Yeah, I didn't realize the sound would do that, really fucked up the whole thing, really.

Absolutely thrilling!

It kept me hanging on the edge of my seat the entire time! I was really into this animation. I seriously didn't expect the ending. I'm not sure what you did, but you totally made that last bit a huge surprise and thrill to see.

This was truly very comedic, short and sweet. Very simple and very brilliant!

Brilliant!

At first I thought this was going to be the stupidest thing ever... Then I watched it and it was fucking brilliant! The art was good, the humor was fucking epic... Words can't even describe what I just saw, well done!

A test?

Is there really you need to upload a 4 second test to Newgrounds? What's this purpose of this?

The teleportation looks just fine by the way, I suggest you don't use stick figures. Also, add some blur and glow to the teleport, and a sound effect.

A slightly decent Sprite Movie.

I'm not opposed to sprite movies, however it does annoy me when people do them completely wrong. However, you were pretty on par on yours, which made it watchable, and thus, I appreciate that!

The only real gripe I had about this movie was that horrid spelling mistakes. Were these intentional? Did you have to translate the movie from Japanese to Engrish?

One more thing that I thought was odd was when you mixed in MegaMan blasting with a completely different sprite. Why have, for the whole movie, you zoom in on the sprites to the point that the pixels take up half the screen... then randomly decide you want to switch sprites?

The thing about sprite movies is, if you're going to do it in "sprite style" you need to stay consistant with the sprites you're using.

I really enjoyed the fighting scenes, as well as the music and sound effects. The plot was interesting... Except I don't understand why they were searching for planes. I didn't even see one plane through the whole movie!

Of course, this was your spelling mistake, which, I still don't know if it was intentional or not.

I say through the whole thing, so, that says something for you.

jutopa responds:

The spelling is not intentional, no im not analphabet. the spelling is bad because im spanish and i dont talk well the english.
they werent looking for planes, they were looking for blueprints!
sorry, was my horrid english spelling.

Better than the first! (But I don't feel it.)

I'm not sure why, after so many years, you picked THIS to be your "regular" series that you dish out. You've done some MUCH better stuff that would be better to work on as a recurring series. Perhaps it's because you made it easy to draw, with short and quick to the point jabs of humor?

The thing is, I'm really not feeling it for this series. I must say, that this episode was a lot better than the first episode.

A man of your talent should be doing much, MUCH better things. While you don't seem to be interested in working on any of your older projects... I still think The Stupid Adventures of Mary N' Tony would have been something WAY better to dish out as a weekly series, rather than this.

Also, why not get some decent female or alternate voices for yourself? I know you want to just dish these minisodes out there, and it's insanely appreciated considering you haven't publicly released anything like this in quite some time, but there's no shame in asking other people to just read some lines real quick. I'm not saying you did a bad job, it's just that your voice is extremely recognizable, and you seem to be using the same voice altering software and setup for female characters, that you have been doing since 2004. I can't help but think every female character is Elly from Bonus Stage.

While I usually find your cartoons HILARIOUS, this is the only one that I honestly think needs work with the writing. I know you can do much, MUCH better than this. I do like the jokes about having generic web applications described as complex computer programs, while they end up being things like WordPress and Gmail.

The Captain guy, or whoever, is by far the most unfunny and worst character of the series... Even though he's suppose to be the main... guy... thing. In fact, I'm having trouble figuring out who the main character is... Is it the web designer guy, or is it the unfunny captain?

Normally I wouldn't go into such a deep and long review, especially for one of your animations... because usually I'm just damn happy that you were able to finish something. However, I care about the integrity of your projects, and I love your animations... And I know for a fact you can do WAY better than this. Don't let this review detract you from animating or getting your hopes down.

I'd rather see Mark N' Tony come back as a weekly (biweekly, whatever) series, than "Deadly Space Action."

I thought Complex was pretty funny as well.

It just seems like the candidate you picked for "Award winning weekly toon" aka "Deadly Space Action" was the worst possible choice out of your vast array of brilliant toon ideas.

Excellent episode!

I'm pleased to see that you submitted this on Newgrounds! I remember the first time I watched this, ages ago... Good times, good times.

I thought at first that this was a new episode, then was quickly disappointed. But then I was reappointed that it was this episode, so that made me happy. =P

(I used that word right, don't say I didn't.)

I look forward to the day in the future, when all my favorite lazy animators from their glorious times of ole, finally start releasing some new stuff again. Until then, Niko!

Needs more added.

Perhaps you were in a rush to get this done for a Frank... Or perhaps it was suppose to be a real animation and there is no Frank. I honestly don't understand if it's dedicated to someone, or if the whole animation was suppose to just exist in it's own universe.

If the latter is true, this animation needs some serious work. If the way you drew everything was your art style, that's fine... But you need to add more to the animation.

You can start with adding some background music, perhaps some sound effects. Sound effects for the hot tub, phone ringing, etc.

You can even get a step farther and try to at least attempt some voice acting for the person on the phone. If all you have is your own voice, and it doesn't match, you could always just record yourself muttering incoherent words, so they can go along with the text.

Anyway, if there's really a Frank... Then Happy Birthday Frank.

its alright i made this in an hour or two. I needed to get it done. I just used newgrounds to host it so I could show it to him. Thanks for the review!

Interesting adpatation

You did an excellent job adapting Hania's song into animation. The art went well with the song as best it could. I'm glad you were able to put it into an animation without failing. Hania's songs deserve the best. <3

5'ed and 10 starred.

Ages ago, I submitted my first flash. I'm not sure whatever happened to it, but that's okay, because it was horrible. Several years later, I submitted a slightly less horrible flash. ...And now I'm back... submitting more terrible animations!
